Bezprym (986-1032), the first-born son of king of Poland Bolesław I Chrobry; and his second wife, who came from Hungary (unknown name); he was deprived of throne of Poland due to giving it to his brother Mieszko II. In 1031, in alliance with Conrad II, Holy Roman Emperor and Russian prince Yaroslav I the Wise, with Russians and Germans support he gained the throne. Mieszko II escaped to Bohemia and Bezprym then sent the royal regalia to emperor. His reign was short-lived, as Bezprym was murdered in 1032 and Mieszko II returned to the throne of Poland.
